We have been lucky enough to photograph a good number of weddings at the Barn at Barra already this year. And we absolutely adore the place.
Last Saturday we were back there for Michael & Rachael's big day.
It was amazing fun from start to finish with lots of heart-warming moments. Michael's younger brother , Mark, helped to officiate the wedding. Delivering a beautiful speech all about the couple before the registrar made things legally binding. One of the guests even stood up to deliver a beautiful rendition of a song from Les Misérables whilst the register was signed. Amazingly, Michael managed to keep the honeymoon destination a secret from Rachael until after they were married! Judging by her reaction, I think it's safe to assume the new Mrs Swan was pretty delighted with the outcome.
We hear Montrose is just lovely this time of year..
Joking aside, this was a truly wonderful day.
Plenty of familiar faces from past weddings and some superb entertainment from the likes of Fifth Dimension (magicians) & BAHOOKIE. whipping up a storm on the dance floor.
